Yet another cover. It's all been done with my PowerBook G4 Macintosh, Reason samples (no loops though) and additional vocals in GB. Unfortunately I'm not as good singer as John Lennon smiley. This is actually a work in progress, it lacks horns and a decent singer. I am working on that.

Lennon would have certainly proud of you. This is one of my favorite song from the Beatles, with strawberryfields forever and of course all of their songs. I had myself tried to do a song with this spirit. you may hear it at http://www.icompositions.com/auditorium/showphoto.php?photo=19887 but I'm not as talented as they were. I've never tried to do a cover, but now that I see what it can be I may be gonna try. Who knows? Keep up the good work. Didier.

I'm from the Lennon era and he was good then, but this is today and you need no other vocalist...you are what makes the song. Production is very good although I'd pare organ back a hair and bring bass up a notch. As you can tell, I'm following your song list and loving it...another download.

Hi there!
Constructive critisism is what you learn from. Together with mistakes and some practise. I agree, there's too much organ and too little bass. I still don't like my vocals though. In time, I'll do an update on this one. Thanks for your comments!

Great version of a ground breaking Beatles tune.
I like the mix the organ sounds great and gives it an intensity that creates the entire feel of the piece.
But that is just my opinion.

Keep up the good work

This is absolutely my favourite song of all time and I seriously doubted whether anyone could make it work, but you have.

On my eMac speakers the organ/bass mix sounds fine.

I like this rework of the Beatles track. I wear Beatles on my sleeve and was scared to hear an "interpretation" of one of my very most favorite songs (which was also thier first dabble into psychedelia) but you do it great justice here, especially in the jazz section of the song. The organ is uber cool. I'll have to unplug my emac from my stereo and do what Ponkey did... just out of curiosity. Sounds great on my stereo however.

Thank you people!
To me The Beatles are THE Popgroup, and I wasn't really sure if it would be "accepted" or not to turn one of their best tunes into something... well, ehm... something else.
