Ending was a little clipped from what I heard, but the perfomance was magnificent and the instrumentation unbeliveably good. Have to ask, were the instruments samples, a synth (hard to believe), live or loops (hard to believe. This was again a download. Thanks for making my night.

Hi 48scooter!
You're right about the ending, the room-verb was for some reason cut. I might correct that in time. I used the samples that comes along with Reason. They're fairly good I think. As I stated in the description above I originally arranged this hymn for string quartet and a mezzo. Unfortunately I didn't make any recording when it was performed live. Hence the use of instrument samples.
Thanks anyway for your time and comments! They're very much appreciated! And I'm also very glad that you find it worthwile to download it!

This is really well put together.
I rated 5 all the way , as I listened to it I had to ask how I felt on each aspect, and that is my feeling for this piece "5".

I think this track has a lot going in it's favour. I'm not Jewish but have been into a synagogue & the music has a certain Hebrew feel to it. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to your composition.

Very nice. Great stuff. If they played this kind of thing with real strings at every church, I'd become religious!

Check out Via Maris...it has a bit of a middle-eastern feel as well. Unfortunately, it was ranked a "3" with some cryptic remarks by one listener; I'd love to hear what you guys think of it since it's apparent you're rather accomplished with symphonic production. This certainly exercises a range of emotion; I can almost hear a cathedral organ for added grandeur.

Dark, serious and accomplished music making. Quite reserved with its Nordic temperment.
