I've been working on this for quite a while, having all kinds of problems vocally and/or with the technology… not to mention getting distracted by life and/or other projects many times. Finally, today, I have a version which I can upload for reactions and comments. The final version will be uploaded by Videoscore, whose amazing music inspired this poetry and these vocal melodies.

His original piece is here: http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=19776

Music: Videoscore
Vocals & Lyrics: Carla J. Patterson
Artwork: Carla Cryptic

Carla! I get the "life distractions" part. I've been out of pocket for a bit on projects, but coming back to YOU and THIS! keeps me happy....

Gorgeous track. Sounds sort of "Celtic" to my ear?

Chris - I agree completely… when I heard the music Tim made, I was suddenly there and hearing these words come into my mind. Graham also thinks it has a medieval and/or Elizabethan feel in the verses.

Thanks Anomalis… really appreciate your comments.

I'm getting a medieval feel from this too. Second revoltington's ethereal soul music. Great way to describe this. Haunting soaring vocals and music. It's a beauty. Thanks for sharing with us.

Ohh the lyric is SO haunting. You have captured the exact feeling of the song, that which created it to begin with! The vocals are like the siren's call, carrying the sadness of the widow. It is their lament as well. Carla I SO love this!!!

Wow, cool - big, cinematic! I love the pryamiding vox around 1:09 - like a harmonic round. This would be great in a Bilbo Baggins Joins the Navy sort of film!! smiley Enjoyed!
