A sort-of-latin-folk cover of a goth song that i always loved, featured on "In The Air" album, by this fantastic band called The Handsome Family. If you've seen the 'True Detective' tv series, the opening song, "Far From Any Road" is also one of their best...

Recorded and mixed 4th sept. '14. All instruments and vocals by moi.

Dyl!

I sure look forward to hitting play when I see you've posted a new tune!

I've not heard this before but may have to investigate the original artist.

Your brand of music is so universally appealing. Your talent, your musicianship, your sense of 'cool' is very enjoyable.

You could make even a sad milkman smile!

I DIG, Dyl! You're a Frenchman aren't you? How can you get that "americana" vibe? smiley

I'd be interested to know what kind of acoustic you use on this...is there also a uke or mandolin? a banjo? something kinda plucky in there... I just like the way it all blends under the lead that kinda strings it all together...very subtly done under 'dere...mmm-hmm... nice...

i love the sound of your spanish guitar - it's just so sweet. i always look forward to it -

this one and your last few i've been drawn in on the percussion. your tunes just always sound so completely formed musically - and i took notice that you said you're playing all instruments and no loops - so after having read that on some other tune a while back my ears started perking up more for the little things and paying attention to the details. and everything just has such great taste - never too much never too little
