The last 10 days has been the time of the Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
I have very nice fresh memories from this. This piece of music is a tribute to all the fine musicians that makes this event something very special.

A fusion of jazz, latin, and prog rock.

bass line and piano sound great together. i would not have minded another several measures from them. smiley this is one of the most unusual progressions i've heard, Kenneth -1:28! the brass does cool things with its line. very mellow tone on the sax. only teensy nit: a little of the background shimmering synth went a long way for me - i'd like to hear it fade out in parts - love its sparkle at intro, for example. very good build - testimony to your inspiring experience!

Hi Kenneth. Cool that you have a Jazz festival there too in Copenhagen. You probably know we have a huge one here every year in Montreal also, since your wife is from here.

This is really beautiful on the ears, you did a marvelous job on the music. Was all this done from your head?

Most enjoyed the listen. smiley

I'm happy sitting at home finally catching up on my listens this hot hot afternoon. There are two festivals happening here - The Folk Festival; and the Pemberton Festival. I'm too old going to festivals...sitting on grass stiffens me up...especially the legs.

I really like this piece my friend. The horns are wonderful. Very memorable melody!

Very interesting fusion,,,, some of the synth sounds sound a bit tinny. But the overall together-ness and UP feel is very good! Not sure what thie sound is during the 1:20 passage but it does not seem to echo the rest of the instruments

A highly complex piece, Kenneth - this is big on many levels. So many mini melodies going on throughout. And some very interesting chord sequences. Strong bass line carrying it all through. Great choice of instruments, as always - that is one of your specialities. A real blend of modern with a traditional core of good songwriting.

Fantastic horns in this. Love the break around 2:45 in, the piano soloing is awesome. Then the gradual and smooth building into the outro, superb. Dig the atmospheric moog-like snyth in this. Outstanding work, thanks for sharing with us.
