This music should make you stomp a foot to the beat. You may also want to clap a fast 1-2-3.

Slow moving, hard 4 to the floor folky piece of music with a mix of traditional instruments and synth. And a simple piece with only two chords but a lot of small melody lines.

One, two, three - come and stomp with me.

One of the hardest things when uploading music is to find a name for the song and an image to match. I first decided the name of the song and started searching for images with "old boots". And then some variations. I finally found these boots. Not very old boots. In fact very new boots in a very good shape. But they sure are beautiful boots and I am sure they can stomp to this music.

Enjoy

Like this. With the right lyrics on top of this you could have a hit that would play well in a club like Houston's Wild West where I've gone a few times.

Very well put together. To me it opened medieval sounding theme.
Nice variations, extensions and developments, counter melodies, and counter counter melodies, Very well done on many levels.

Cool boots picture, after a closer look, I say two of them are faking it with stilettos and leg warmers.

That's a very saucy picture, Kenneth!

I love that you have written a two-chord song! It's a real skill. My two favourite two chord songs are also folk-based: "What shall we do with a drunken soldier" and "Oh sinner man".

Lovely instruments you have used here. And wonderful little melodies going on. I was harmonising myself on top! Modern sounds, yet the overall sound as, someone else has commented, is older and more folky. Right up my street.

I used to play with a group in Australia that had one rule-Two chords only.
It was quite the eye opener at the time but I've come to realise that the constraint can inspire creativity and it certainly has here.Nice one -some great themes and melodies, played beautifully as always.

Am I the only one to hear reaggae with a celtic twist?
I wanted to comply with the foot stomp Ken but it's 3.30 am and I'm not sure my neighbours would approve. Having said that I really like the trad melodies and the overall feel, they add a lightness to this which is a cheeky counterbalance to the stomp.

Much enjoyed the listen Ken.

Enjoyed this very much. Great work with using only two chords. This reminds me so much of the music I hear at the annual Greek festival ... would be fun to see some folk dancing to this. smiley

I agree with @ffej55 the Irish have moved to Jamaica!! Excellent piece, and I indeed feel the stomp of the boot. I dig the synth accordian? Whatever it is, I dig it!! The pizzicato strings have the greatest most perfect delay on them, jittery shimmery - sweet! Great track!!

Has a medieval / Abba or polka hybrid sound going on for my ears. Which is a very cool combination. Love the synth 'break' around 2:17 in. Great work, thanks for sharing with us.
