I love the somber intro and that could feel could have continued for the entire piece and I'd loved it. When the percussion is introduced … right at first I'm thinking, "Aw, shoot, that somber mood is gone". Then, as I listen further, I'm taken into the twain of the upbeat percussion and the continuing instrumentation of the somber intro. A very interesting blend and development, for sure.
