This song was first written as a folky instrumental although it was the vocal version that I shared here about four years ago (performed by Richard John). Lately I rebuilt the instrumental version based on the country/waltz backing adopted in the vocal version and is presented here today as my first entry for 2016.

There was a time I used to travel frequently between two neighboring cities by train. Inside the cabinet, half of the seats are facing the front & the other half to the back of course. So if you happened to have one facing the back of the train, it would seem you were moving away from the sunset (if there was a visible one that day) when the train moved. Only the 6pm schedule in the summertime had that view. This inspired the title of the song.

Just hope you would enjoy this one.
Thanks for stopping by.

You have captured not only the scene and setting but mood as well. Maybe add some lines of vocals next time? Enjoyed it. Ken
