Built this up through the improv process I use every Friday in connection with Sound-In.org - sometimes I am gobsmacked by how complete a song can be which comes out of not thinking of anything in particular. I'm not shocked by the content of this one, though, considering what's going on in the world right now.

I feel like an elder speaking to the choir (other people my age) and all too aware that none of these realizations usually come till age and its discontents arrive. I can't help but sing about it though... everything I create, visual or aural, comes from the same well holding my conscious mind and its reactions to the world around me.

Preaching to the choir indeed. Love how your lyrics speak things lots of the world are feeling. Yet are so jumbled up they never seem to gel. Gorgeous dreamy feel to this. Smoothing out my ruffled feathers beautifully. Giving me a 'everything is going to be alright' feel. Love that. Fantastic work, thanks for sharing with us.

Thanks for this, Carla. Beyond its dreamy topicality, a really interesting, maybe oxymoronic combination, or through its relevance, the song provides needed evidence that music can do more than cry over lost love and the other things that it typically does.
