Backing Vocals - Sarah and Carly.....

This was recorded in 2009 and fortunately the stems have survived the move across many computers. It is due for a remix with a new version of Sonar so I have concentrated on improving the drums and bass and making other small changes. This is the Carpenters song done up Reggae style and was originally intended as an instrumental; that changed when Carly decided to have a go and recorded the vocal in one take.

The 2009 mix is here.

I dig this version, and Carly's vocal really has a lot of the same character of Karen Carpenter's. The reggae feel was really surprisingly fitting for this. Great!!
