Ah, yes. The sands of time do trickle away, do they not. :) A very pretty piece. Nicely atmospheric apropos the theme, without being too dark. I hear an element of joy in it, perhaps reflecting what you said about still being here and creating, doing what you love..

A glorious milestone piece to show us all you're at the peak of productivity, methinks. As long as one keeps being creatively involved, then one has to think the best work is ahead of us, no? Congratulations on turning the big number. :)

Jim, I remember sitting in school waiting for the last minutes to run off the clock. Seemed like it took for eternity. A. Einstein didn't think time existed. Maybe so, but the entropy is certainly kicking my butt. Look at it like this Jim. You don't have the time to think about it. Too many other interesting things to do and experience. :) Well, to the music! The composition from the start has very nice sound quality. I hear a slow build, as a variety of things are being added as it moves along. Nice synth sounds. Hear is the thing. Like you, the tune doesn't wither at the end and the sum is greater than the beginning. If I had the choice to relive my life exactly as it stands, I would have to decline. Don't get me wrong, my life was interesting, but doing it twice would be as boring as watching the clock in school.

First of all Happy Birthday! This is an awesome reflection to life and from what I listen, it was a meaningful spent one. But I feel like the piece brings a lot of future as well, so keep creating, that's the best thing humans should do, not Bingo !:)
