Ambivalent Melody

A choral piece. Something I wrote a long time ago for anything I could get anyone to play it on. This decade's rendering features EastWest's anonymous sampled Bulgarians turning the raw milk of abstract harmony into caramel ear candy.

* 03/20/17 (Happy First Day of Spring!) - v1.1
Now with 50% more Bulgarians, and cellos!

* 02/28/17 - v1.0

Thanks, folks.

I enjoy playing with these wordless-but-articulated vocals, which can play deep tricks with your brain's language processing. We humans can't hear sound like this without our skull-meatballs going into overdrive to try to process it into familiar words and thoughts.

You might call those unreal words a song's "ideolyrics".

Putting it another way... "Hey, llama! Lick the air, daily, May to June, 'ay?"
