From the "talkin' Blues" genre and the "Smartass" department of humour comes this little ditty poking fun at the Old Testament...did you know there is no mention of Satan or Hell in that book? A relatively new invention I suppose.

I smile … then I don't, because the story is too darn right!
Then I smile again, because I choose to go left.

Ha! Yeah, I try to always remain moderated. smiley In today's world, it is rather difficult to stomach all the extremely antiqued views that so many feel emboldened to express. Moderation is wiser, me thinks.

Just to be clear, I think this song is tremendously artful and delightfully contrary. Your delivery of it is masterful.

Not to split hairs; but you may have missed Genesis 3:1-3. It's the part where Adam and Eve formed Antifa & thought they could make Paradise more perfect (Hubris Erectus), when a serpent from the Screen Actors Guild indoctrinated them to buy an Apple iPhone.
(Coincidentally, "Humanae Superbiae" is the topic of the song I'll upload next Tuesday.) Happy New Year. Thanks - Phil
