Back in 2007 RacerX posted this thang.

It was just a bass line with some percussion at the time.

I immediately knew what I wanted to do and had a poem of a song thang in my mater box that I changed up to fit the structure he had laid down n make it a more lyrical (song) thang and sent him a draft of just my vox as dry as sand in the Mohave.

After a couple few takes, he sent me this with McBoy and his electric geetar.

Racerx:
PRS ce22/Precision bass

RC Andrews:
Vocal chords & Lyrics

Mcboy:
Stratocaster

Nailed it with the Mohave, Kemosabe! The old Blues singers agree. It's the genre for every man who has had his heart mauled by the stiletto heels of a contestant on The Bachelor (or Real Housewives) smiley
Thanks - Phil

Thanks y'all for the nods of approval and kind words.

Does an ole dawg good to know the blues ain't dead, even though it's taken a beatin over the decades smiley

And while this was done a decade ago, it warmed my heart to be apart of it and still keeps a fire in me burnin.

About that "sauce" I blame it on the second line of the refrain *)

Regradin them dry vocals. I learnt a long time ago, it's always best to record them that way.

Makes work for the cat or kitten at the board, less aggravatin.

What I personally enjoyed about bein apart of this track, was how everyone instinctively knew their place(s) from Jump Street and never left them.

That and I always wanted to collab with them.

Precious memories indeed, stiletto's and all smiley
