I don't really know how to feel about this song. It was the second song of a trilogy I wrote and recorded while most of my friends (including my brother and my girlfriend) went on spring break in 1989. I spent most of the week over at my brother's house where all of our recording gear was and tried to come up with a new sound like no one had really done before. As I was recording this several strangers wandered in off the street to check it out. They thought it sounded pretty cool.

On these songs I basically laid out a framework of Percussion and bass and then recorded everything else live and improvised. These were only demos so I didn't even bother recording on 4-track. It is a little hard to hear the vocals, but maybe that is for the better.

When everyone got back from spring break my roommate played me the new CD he had gotten that blew him away - "Pretty Hate Machine". When I heard that album I realized that Reznor had done what I was trying to do, but had done it much better than I ever could. After that I took my music in a different direction.

Sounds like you pissed off for being left behind! LOL! This is worthy of continued development. Reznor may have done it, but this still can be moulded. Would be great to hear some vox tracks on it. I love the edge it has.
I'm anxiously awaiting for submissions from you to this iComp site. Great fun stuff man!
