After listening to the mix again, I hated it, so I re-worked it.

Cool tune elder (and friends)!

Reminded me of a time when I listened to a lot of fusion. Still have a soft spot in my heart for it. Love the synth solo that joins the guitar solo at the end. Well done.

i love the album art as well. there were parts of this that gave me (just a bit of) a King Crimson vibe, which is never bad. (and i only say this because i don't have a proper frame of reference) this whole track is very fluid and it flows beautifully.

i noticed there are 5 downloads (including me)but just one other comment... it makes me wonder why people would like this enough to dl but not reply... (i mean that was me for a bit, but i only waited it so i could listen to it enough before leaving a response)

i really love this... it has a great structure and everything fits really well... and it has a vibe to it that i don't want to refer to as "jazzy" but would just be to describe how much of a soulful feel it has to it. maybe a better way to describe it would be a stroll through lush poppy fields. i wish i could say even more about this great piece, but my mind is strapped for the right words. wonderfully done.

Thanks, man.
This is what I call Jazz-fusion.
Meaning fusion of jazz with rock, which led into progressive movement of 70s and 80s.
all the same thing- improvisation with discipline
Crimson is definately an influnce on all who played in this.
As well as Pat Metheny, Chick Corea, Jean Luc Ponty, stuff Yes and Floyd were doing and to a lesser degree Zeppelin, etc etc.
We all came from the same musical background,
but have our own favorite flavor.
Mine happens to be bent toward the synth/keyboard gods Larry Fast, Vangelis, Jarre, TDream etc etc.
All those mixed flavors creates a unique sound don't you think?

well done. nice groove.
