Cracks me up! I post a song called "Vulgar Man" and quote DickBuckley and the name "Dick" is **** censored as vulgar! Ha!!!

You can't *buy* irony like that. smiley Maybe I have to go on Sirius Radio like Mr. Stern.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...

I love this song!

I let PM know about the censor problem. Don't know if anything can be done, but at least they know!

I don't know how you get all those funny sounds and melt them together the funniest way possible. The rythm or should I say beat of the song is so particular and captivating. Great Job. I don't know much about Dick Bucley, I don't know him. Funny. Cheerio.....

Dick Buckley has been a DJ on Chicago Public Radio since 1977. Really deep signature voice and a limitless firsthand knowledge of jazz and blues artists from the 20th century (the whole century). He'd dig out 78's and 45's and lost-label stuff you would never find in any store or on any station. His archives are mind-boggling.

There is a limitless wealth of music made in the 1930-1960's range that would be difficult to hear, let alone purchase, without dedicated enthusiasts like Buckley.

You have a great cadence in all your songs. This is another example of it. Quite like the old lennon/mcartney thang. And THAT is a compliment.

Wow, I love the vocals, definitely gives the Beatles vibe. If don't mind I could use your two cents on getting this vocal effect, whether it's mixing, vocal harmonies, or a mixture of both.

Thx Ice. On this old song it was mostly a lot of vocal layers, multiple tracks and mixing...also it's digitized from 4-track tape recorded 15 years ago, so that might account for the "antique" effect. I also used to put chorus effects on vocals. I used a really generic, low-end mic, too. Hope that helps.
