One of my suitemates is learning some jazz and I borrowed some of his lead sheets, one of which was Autumn Leaves. I used garageband for this one and I'm playing organ, piano, and bass. EnicholsIC is featured on guitar on this one as well. He was also kind enough to mix it for me. I used a loop for the drums.

Hope you guys enjoy it!

Steve,
Thanks for letting me play on this with you. I wish you all the best and keep me posted if you'd like to do another standard - but be careful, once you go jazz, it's hard to go back! smiley

My mother (who turns 95 at the end of this month) and my dad were big band era musicians who played this song throughout my youth. Mom still plays at senior events where we live and I still get to hear my favorite classic tune from that bygone era. Nice jazz rendition and a definitive download for me.

Thanks

I am using an organ patch on my novation x-station 25. The built in synth is pretty powerful, and has a really great organ tone generator that you can really mess around with to get a cool sound.

Thanks for all of the positive comments. As soon as school gets a little less stressful I'm planning on recording another jazz standard.
