Wrote this song a million years ago just after my divorce... Recorded it now on my piano while I did some kind of singin' huuh... and then we made this super colab with Ed on sologuitar J0J0 as recording advisor and his friend drmusic which is Fred who deliveres the electric clarinet.
Scottydude came up with a bassline that he was far from satiesfied with, but I like it a lot!
Although this is a colab,
I can't resist lifting Ed's fantastic guitarplay out of the shadows...
It freezes my spine when I hear the instrumental part there in the middle... Enjoy!

For me, this song is beautiful... Your voice is nice and I like how you sing...

All the melodic lines will be very nice to my ears, if I don't have the impression of a little confusion...

Thanks !!

The star system is very difficult here bcause I really do like this song, but some things feel a little off to me. I am not a real musician in any way, but some of the timing seems a little off. I love the meandering playing in the begining, and Ed's work here is really special. So's Scotty playing- I don't know why he'd not be happy with this! In fact everyone here is really very good. Your vocals are fitting for this style-- reminiscent of David Baerwald. I guess to me it feels a little too meandering without a real climax. Maybe? Also the phasing of the vocals throws me off a bit, as it doesn't fit with the feel of the instrumental portion of this song.

Right to my favs!! The need for catharsis is usually a very strong engine towards creativity. Well done guys.
Peace,
Pete

Ed, your tone and playing sounds like Steve Howe from Yes.

Dylan like your typewriting...Nice!
There is a bit confusion here with the voice... and the volumelevels, hard to correct bad singin though...and jdwyer05 you pinpointed the relation between the voice and the instrumental part... The voice should probably have an even simpler arrangement, perhaps only piano or guitar...
David it's bittersweet alright!
petercap0519 catharsis and creativety is like egg and bacon...

Very nice.

I would bring the vox out front a little more, but that's pretty suggestive!

Another iComp supergroup!
