I wanted to try out a new mic and pre-amp that I've been trying to set up for a long time (had to buy everything piece by piece). It's brand new, and I haven't a clue how to equalize it or make it sound exactly right, but it was fun using a new set-up. I used the new mic on the primary vocals and the old set-up for the back-up. I understand this is a very rudimentary song (just bass and drums and vocals) but I figured what the heck, post it anyway.

Joanna-- this is freaking AMAZING!!! Love the new found clarity in the new setup. You sound great!!! It may be a simple arrangement-- but it is EXACTLY what is needed here. Maybe a little jazz piano could accent certain parts-- or a little muted trumpet in there-- if you extended the piece to accomodate it-- but this is also perfect the way it is.

Damn, you're good!!! Instant classic and instant favorite!!!!

Joanna's artist icon 		Thank you all so much! I agree that the song could use a little more depth in the backing, which is why I added the background vocals. Granted, jazz piano or trumpet would be great but I don't play jazz piano and I don't want to overdo my fake trumpet (it's always something I think of, though) so this is it. I'm glad you were all able to enjoy it anyway!
