Industrial- and world-flavored electronica, the next in my Ramayana series, songs inspired by that Hindu epic. Prince Rama and his animal allies (the Vanara...a race of intelligent, ape-like beings...and the great bears of central India) have managed to build an enormous bridge spanning the ocean between the sub-continent and the demon-controlled island of Lanka. There, Rama's wife Sita has been held captive for months by Ravana, king of the rakshasas (a variety of Asura, literally "anti-god," best described as demons). Rama's army crosses the bridge and lays seige to the demon fortress, and one of the bloodiest, most grueling battles in all of human epic ensues.

This track is chaotic, over-the-top, and full of poorly pronounced Sanskrit. Let's just pretend that neither the demons nor their animal foes can quite get that language down... smiley

No prob David the language used is cool enough
remember the demon and his hordes can only function in the dark
hehehe

cause they know very well they stand no chance if they were to fight in daylight

very spooky tune

Love it.... has the classic dark industrial feel along with a bit of ethereal romance. The concept is killer. Really enjoyed.

Right, as if I would know your Sanskrit is being spoken poorly! smiley This is a massive, in-your-face composition. Total war. And yet making perfect sense. Great beat. The stops and starts are exciting.

If you ever go to Las Vegas, go see KA, one of the Cirque du Soleil shows there. In it is a battle scene that I replayed in my mind while I listened to your piece. Superhuman qualities, both your song and the Cirque performance.

well, I for one was immediately offended by the sandskrit mispronounciation- If I was rating and there was a rating for ancient language diction I would have had to go low- u lucked out, man.

This is really cool- reminds me of orcs and klingons
Great Music- u r amazing

i still want to be that mouse - David u have created a track that I would rank somewhere between brilliance and cheap Asian Disco sound (excuse the later) smiley ... I think the 4/4 is too hard ... your melodies and sounds are superb as always and the story is what makes your music always sth special

"Poorly pronounced Sanskrit" -- LOL! As if most of us here would know. Sounded great to me -- very dramatic for sure. I almost felt exhausted by the end of the piece (that's a good thing). I absolutely loved the Indian flavor overlaid by the driving electronica.
