Here we go... my very first foray into vocals. Yes, it should be somewhat obvious I need some lessons. <grin>

I wasn't sure how to classify this in terms of genre - so I selected Alternative and then Folk... would love to hear thoughts on _that_ problem too.

This is a song I wrote on the front porch several years ago, with no lyrics. I revisited it a few months ago, and my situation in life just dropped some lyrics on me. I hope they don't come off as too conceited or egotistical.. they aren't meant to be. It's a story of one man's journey into forgiving himself, and in some ways, what it means to listen to your inner guardian angel and accept what you hear.

I had quite a bit of fun laying this down. The Taylor 412 has a lot of string buzz unfortunately, but can't be helped until I find a new job. The vocals are my second take... also will get better when I have money for lessons.

I'd love to hear some bass or hand drums added to this.
