I was really happy with Pilate's dream ( http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=68497 ) so I decided to continue with Pilate's tunes...
After few hours of hectic work, based on a midi file I found in internet and my own impros you can hear also the scene when Jesus is taken to Pilate for the first time

This tune is mostly about singing exercise so any feedback is welcome smiley

Well, nobody can say that you're lacking fantasy.

A voice out of the chorus, among so many similar songs here.

Great job. I mean it.

Very good interpretation Marin. Interesting take. You're voice is almost exactly like Pilate. Jesus is a bit off but hey who can do Jesus! smiley Very good job my figlio smiley
B

P.S: I'd recriut a bunch of icompers to do the chorus.

thanks guys ... I really love JC Superstar ... it brings me nice memories

the 39 lashes should be up too ... but it can take some time, it should be a big production smiley

Jesus sounds distant because he's down there where the guards are holding him, and the microphone of course is in front of Pilate smiley

The instrumentation has a kind of puppet show quality, very avante garde and expresses to me something commedia del'arte or perhaps J. P. Sartre? This impression is supported, to me, by the vocals. Thematically, since the song is about fate, and puppets have no free will, I found the whole take somewhat profound. Fascinating. Surprising.

I'm not overly familiar with JCS, but this is very interesting. Strangely, it reminds me of the last part of The Wall by Pink Floyd, you know, the court scene.

Anyway, I've gotta admire anything that is this ambitious and different.

Cool stuff my friend.

Great job on the JCS tunes, Marin. I'm really enjoying your renditions of these pieces. Jesus sounds british. Your pilate voice is perrrrfect! I totally see what RoboScott means by the likeness to the "Trial Scene" in THE WALL by PF. Maybe you could even cover some Pink Floyd, who knowS?! Great work man! ~Justin

I am a huge fan of JCS and your Pilate is dead on! Fantastic, spirited performance. I truly enjoyed this. Left me with a big grin and yes, I sang along. Couldn't help myself.
