One day I ended up at this website:
http://www.geocities.com/Vienna/9349/index.html
by this math guy, Daniel Cummerow.

Now, the midis there each represent musical embodiments of mathematical formulas. -But I thought they sounded a bit bare. I emailed the guy for permission to use his midi files, but the mail bounced back. So I went ahead anyway and redid the one for Pascal's Triangle. Just contact me Dan, and I'll take it down if you want me to.

Load it up in Logic, re-instrument it, then some slice and dice, creative input, percussion, bass, guitar, speed it up a little -and I ended up with something far removed from Mr Cummerow's pure ideals and something you yourself probably wouldn't touch with a barge pole.

Electronic with a touch of avante garde.
YMMV

you know, i have always loved music in my life and yet i hated math with a particular passion and would not attempt to learn it... then one day it occurred to me that musical notes are math, and that the structure of the universe is mathematical and precise and beautiful - this led me to the realization that math is a palette upon which creation of wonders is possible. and if you look at the world around you, the brushstrokes of God are apparent, and every created thing is actually a song. this piece of music makes me think of that and for that i thank you - great creativity here.

At sub atomic levels scientists have uncovered a world that is full of chaos and contradictions. I think you have left room for that in your "remix" of Mr. Cummerows piece. I really enjoyed listening to this. Thanks for sharing that website. Really fascinating.

I had a listen to the original MIDI file and this remix is fantastic - very powerful indeed. Nothing like a bit of chaos in the mix!

Well done.
