I used to play in a band called "Absolute Zero". Back in the days of analog. We played out in the tri-state area of NY/CT/NJ. Lots of fun.

This tune was off of one of our demo tapes. It was born of anger and frustration.

Ever have a boss who you really could not stand? I mean: really and truly detested?

Pity poor Tony, our drummer. He was working a jacket and tie day job. Large corporation. There was a really nice, kind, beautiful woman working there, too...couple of desks away. He fell in love and eventually they married.

Awwww...sweet story...right? Well, the problem was that their boss treated HER like complete garbage. Daily. In public. Didn’t like women. So, every day, Tony got to see the love of his life being tortured, gleefully, by this Bozo.

What to do?

Well...Tony stormed into rehearsal one night. Never seen him so angry.Told us what was happening and started banging on the drums (very hard). We just did our damnedest to exorcize those demons from him. Did it for ourselves, too. Gotta git them critters outta there.

Then he wrote the lyrics. And put the sampler to work.

This is what we came up with.

Headphones bring out the best, here...if you’ve got ‘em handy.
