New Age: Legacy by MikeGleizer18

Hello all! Mike's the name and this is my first upload on iCompositions (applause). Rather than giving you all a small taste of my work, I've decided to upload the big daddy of my musical portfolio; "Legacy". It's basically a suite of various musical ideas, genres, moods, and a ton of other things too. Give it a listen. I, myself, am darned proud of it.

On another note, I've very recently created a site. This piece, "Legacy", is part of it, but music isn't the only thing the site's about. It's about travel, people, and sunsets.

I envisioned a community where you could go and post your comments on your latest trip (or your favorite trip) and travel-related stuff. It's pretty bare so far, and I'd appreciate it if you all took a little time to explore it. Maybe add to it with your own experiences. Either way, I just needed to get this VERY shameless advertising out of the way.

web.me.com/mikegleizer17/Legacy

And if not, at least enjoy my tune.
A Cappella: Borboleta No Monte by o0o

This is just a little A Cappella I sang this morning to celebrate our new house. Butterflies are my most favorite insects and I even have a large tattoo on my lower back done by a good friend of mine in 2000. Now after we bought the house I found out that the house is located near a forest in the shape of a butterfly. I thought of this as a sign...a good sign...
So we are now going to change our name of the house into "Borboleta No Monte" which means Butterfly On The Hill. This litte ode I sing is sung in a made up language but has the sound of latin languages...Only the last three words are real and ofcourse those are Borboleta No Monte.
This A Cappella is going to be send to a good friend of mine Kraftim. A dutch guy too which I previously collaborated with on the song "ShotOp". He is master in using vocals in his own particular way...I am looking forward to hear the result and ofcourse I will post it after it is done on iCompositions.
So please have a listen to the A Cappella first.

Kind Regards,
Electronica: Lost (Remy's Song) by 21stCenturyExpress

Okay, it's the last episode of the first season - a cliffhanger, of course...

Agril and Remy have battled against the Ministry for quite some time, and have taken each other for granted, in the process. It is just before a critical battle to escape the Minsitry's grip with crucial information stolen by Ara & Tomei (the lesbian super spies). Before they head to their ships, Agril and Remy exchange terse words to each other and things end badly - though not as bad as they imagined. For the ministry, in the midst of the fight, unleashes an unimaginable weapon: powerful surge of energy that rips a gash in space, sucking anything and everything around it into God knows where - presumably "oblivion". Remy's ship is caught in the crossfire and disappears into the abyss. Later, the Ministry's weapon is realized for what it is, and Captain Ellis reports that it is possible - however, extremely unlikely - that Remy survived and is out there, somewhere, lost in space. When he is told under no circumstances is he to attempt to find Remy, his absence would only hurt the fight, and that they couldn't afford to lose him, Agril steals off with his mates; Doldra, a fierce alien fighting machine, and Sooka (SUCA - Synthetic Universal Communications Android).

The final scene shows Remy, floating aimlessly through deep space, blood trickling from his forehead. Sparks fly intermittently and lights flicker as his ship's power is about to disappear. He desperately calls out to Agril, apologizing to him for the words last spoken...an apology only darkness will hear.

This is the soundtrack to that whole setup. Listen, and you can hear the distress signal of Remy's ailing ship...

Enjoy!

I well remember seeing this movie when I was about 5 years old--my babysitter had to keep me from dancing in the aisle of the theater when this song came up. I've loved this kind of music ever since and Prima, well he was just one of a kind!
think this is close to being done.. need to listen about 50 more times and listen myself, so decided to share to have other opinions. Only looking for volume opinions, this should be redone etc and this needs anything other EQ comments will be ignored. The whole things was mastered by recording it to tape and then back into Garageband. (nice 70's analog sound) I love Black Sabbath if you couldn't tell from this song

so 4 guitar tracks, 1 lead guitar, 1 bass, drums by beta monkey, two lead vocals and one backing
mixed in GB, recorded to tape straight from GB and the recording out and then back into an empty track. (so if you hear tape crinkle that's really what you're hearing)
