Snow Day in Hell by Paigan0 1 month ago
I had to come have a listen due to that very cool title. I like a lot of things about it but feel it's a little muddy in terms of lyrics (can't discern what you're saying a lot of the time). I like the vocals at the end a lot - the doo doo doo stuff and the actual words. Cool.

I like this, especially the lyrics and that it's so upbeat musically. These kinds of songs are usually ballads but I like it this way. Nice to hear you today.

@kira001 - thank you for the wonderful comments! It means a lot coming from my honorary teacher! I am smiling as I read your praise and only hope I can do as well with the other song you helped me with - Cherry Blossoms Lane. It may take me just as long to get it done but I'm still working on it. You are very kind to be so generous before and after. xox

This is a lot of fun and I'm so glad to hear one of the results of your studio work. You guys work well together (my 2 cents). It's very 60's sounding to me, which is perfect for me today as I'm putting the finishing touches on my 60's art studio 'room' (all handmade miniatures - furniture, paintings, art supplies, shikibuton (a seat that folds out into a bed), little books which you actually have content you can read with a magnifying glass, and a hanging ball chair with crocheted cover and mandala covered pillows!) for a local art show I participate in once a year (in beautiful Point Reyes).

Graham says hello and that he thought it sounded pretty sophisticated, by the way.

Hadn't heard this before and was just looking for Leonard Cohen songs here when I found this. It's a great cover, lovely mood and music you've all made. Lilichi , it's a great rendition from you... I'd never heard this song before but heard about it in the biography of Cohen I've been reading lately. What a wonderful way to be introduced to it! You guys are all great. TwF - All That I Can Do (Let Us Have A Walk) by MoorNoki 2 years ago
This is pure drama in the best sense of the word - I felt like the curtain came up on a bare stage with just one oblique light on the singer, not in the center of the stage but at an angle also. This builds powerfully from the beginning through to the end. Really wonderful touches throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

@A1K3M1 - I so agree - some kind of vacuum or some kind of pressure pulls us and pushes us towards things at times.
