I found a lot of softness and a neat instrumentation that gives very deep moods

Music for a film perhaps? What a light and airy lullaby.

This is very nice, John!

Yes I'm with Justin, this track might work well for filmscoring. Excellent soundwork, fantastic composition.

There's a very nice texture to this piece, especially though the use of the electric bass (maybe it was the upright bass). I'm also liking the piano/harp pedal notes... they work well. I wouldn't have thought that you could have 5 violin parts (including the solo) and have enough music to use them all.

I'm afraid I don't agree with Justin about the 'light and airy' description... I'd say that it's thick and solid yet being relaxed and smooth. Some kind of slowly (really slowly) flowing river down an entirely smooth channel, with the water slightly coloured and of a consistency somewhere between water and treacle. If I were to put it into physical form.

Not sure what to say except it's a nice addition to the collection.

Beautiful composition. This has a softness and gentle tenderness to the texture that is very soothing. Perfect for a lullaby. A nice beat that keeps things moving, but isn't overpowering in any way. So very cool dissonance and resolves. It has a floaty sound, but full and lush, never thin. Very nice.

Wow!! A great piece of music, yet not what I would've expected. A wonderful diversion from what we are used to but done with the same masterful composition and soul. Thanks for sharing... smiley Peace, A

i'm not an expert to comment on technical issues, and i'm glad there's others around who can do that so well smiley i get the feeling of time passing by (the piano perhaps reminds of the sound of a clock?), of things going away slowly, but unavoidably. and i also get a nice sense of peace, which i relate to the awareness we should have that all of that is just natural, and we can accept it with a smile and should not try to fight it as we sometimes do. so, together with the departed, meant as the people that passed away (if my english doesn't fool me smiley), i think the subject of this beautiful track could well be extended as to include time and things passing by - which is quite a substantial part of the human condition, ain't it?

Has a laid back Thomas Newman quality to it. Very easily see it as end credits to a quality modern day film. Nice work John.
