My rendition of the Klenner and Lewis song from 1931. Here I have played an understated piano solo accompanied by Band-in-a-Box (using real audio tracks) all of which has been carefully mixed and mastered in LogicExpress. Tempo is at 85bpm.

Pianist George Peter Tingley performs JUST FRIENDS (1931).

Exceptional touch. The piano sounds wonderful, as does the whole mix. The drums are supportive varied and good sounding. The bass has great sound, nice lines, and virtous playing filling in where the piano leaves space. Amazing.

Sounds like more is going on then just a friendship. The way you throw in those quick little runs on the keys is great! They're almost like a drum fill, but so much more greasy. You really demonstrate how a piano can sound/feel like it can be in either the percussion or the string section.

The tempo choice is daring up front but it settles in just right. Your playing is always masterful. The brushes sound a bit too bright and loud - I want a bit more of that bass and the drums in the back of the bandstand.
