I wouldn't replicate the Bard's work, word-for-word... it sounds a bit 'shoehorned' into the song. Mayhap if one took the spirit of the poem and changed it to fit the music? Just a suggestion. Methinks ole Will would smile approvingly.

I would tend to agree with neumuzik in that I think that a musical adaptation would have to either take the poem's rythm and accent structure and use that as the base of a song, or adjust the poem to take in the structure that you have in mind.
I liked the singing and the chord progression seems like a suitable modern accompaniment to the sonnet, but I think that the words were under-balanced in relation to the guitar, EQ-wise

Thanks for the comments. It is an idea/experiment I wanted to try to explicitly put the actual sonnet to music. As the title states, it's a demo. The idea is to bring Shakespeare to an updated musical form.
