This is one of my best sellers - an arrangement of the Latin American folk song, Los Pollitos (Baby Chicks). Sung by Impromptu in Spivey Hall, (near Atlanta) April of 1999.Published by Hal Leonard, c. 1999.

I can see why it would be a popular one for choirs to do. Very idiomatic choral and piano writing.

I like this! What I like most is the wonky piano part; hardly idiomatic. It's quirky and individualistic. The vocal parts seem more earth borne. I liked the parallel writing in the voices. Overall the effect almost seems more Russian than Latin to me. Very enjoyable!

Very delicate and complex - perhaps not an easy listening piece, but very satisfying. Excellent craftsmanship, too - this must have been very difficult to do.

One of my favs from MLP Badarak.I can see why it is one of your best sellers; it's populist music that is musical and really music for musicians!
